Public health technology are responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of their communities. They commonly work with a variety of different populations, including children. seniors, and people with disabilities.
Public health technicians may be tasked with investigating cases of disease or illness, tracking down sources of contamination, monitoring public health trends or providing other services to ensure that everyone in their community is healthy.
